<\/span>Love all the one of a kind gift's and ideal products this place carries. It's definitely a more then one day kinda trip place, if you want to see everything. It's a big place with a lot of area's of stuff. Hang on to your young ones. It's very visually stimulating. With lots of things for your taste buds.<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/span>I stopped here for the first time. Note that this review is for the gas station or \u2018Trade\u2019 section of Southland and not the separate restaurant on the same property.

The store has a lot of unique items and is not your typical gas station quick mart. Think tourist trap and gas station store. The prices are higher than most gas station marts, but you are paying for the unique nature. The restrooms were pretty dirty, but the store itself seemed fine.

We ate at the snack bar. The food was okay, but it was nothing special. It is what you would expect from a gas station snack bar.

I do not have complaints, but I do not have praises either. It\u2019s a fine stop for gas or a quick item, but it\u2019s nothing spectacular.<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/span>This is a cool little store that has some cool gift ideas. Sells fudge and drinks including alcohol. Even has a bbq restaurant inside. The bbq quality is about a 3 but the price is very cheap which makes it nice. Hog wild weds has ended \ud83d\ude42 nice little place to stop on the boarder of Virginia.<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/span>Very dissatisfied with the restroom and the bbq. The pulled pork is boiled and soaked in vinegar. The bun is just a cold store bought bun. The pork is rather dry and the only liquid is the vinegar. Where\u2019s the bbq flavor??? French fries where cold. Tables were sticky and menu was limited. Pulled in for a rest stop with the family. Bathroom stall is full of graffiti and swastikas with plenty of urine on the floor. Overall this place needs to step it up. Other than cigarettes and fireworks I don\u2019t see the draw for this place. Staff was ok but by no means charming. Next time I\u2019ll skip it.<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/span>We stopped to get ice cream cones a couple nights ago. I was excited about stopping here for the first time in a life-time of living and traveling to obx. Stood in line and when there was one order in front of me the attendant asked another lady who was changing trash cans with no gloves on to come and help me. I waited to see if she was going to wash her hands. She walks up to the register, never washed her hands, presses something into the screen, turns and asks me what I would like. I said \"No thanks!\" She said something smart arsy... Wow! I could not even... So, THAT is why I turned and left in case you're still scratching your head with your unwashed hands trying to figure it out! No thanks, smart girl!<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/span>One of the best meals we had while on vacation and this was the last meal on our way back home! From the owner who seated us, to our sweet friendly server, to the courteous host who took our payment everyone was attentive and kind. This was the least expensive meal and was beyond delicious. Our food was freshly prepared, hot and the taste wow! Southern comfort food at its best, not to mention the quiet relaxed atmosphere. Look forward to dining here again!<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

<\/span>I drove 20 miles to check out this place. What a waste of time and gas. Extremely disappointing, basically a redneck truck stop. And then....I spot a huge TV mounted in the store with fox news on!!! (volume turned up loud) I immediately exited the closest door. Apparently a lack of options makes this run-down redneck market seem like something. Dont bother.<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
